With this report, we highlight and share moments of the space created for our communities to gather, envision, prioritize, and advocate for the wellbeing of those most marginalized within our communities.

The Audre Lorde Project was created to support the growing community of LGBTSTGNC People of Color in New York City 30 years ago. There was a need for a central space for our communities to gather, envision, prioritize, and advocate for the wellbeing of those most marginalized within our communities.

Looking ahead, we must develop clear and direct strategies to address increasingly authoritarian governance systems. We are committed to challenging city, state, and national public officials and holding them accountable in serving the public good. We will continue to build the collective capacity of local, U.S.-based, and International liberation movements.
