Campaign Manager
Position Commitment: 40 hours a week (Full-Time)
Potential Start Date: November 2022
Annual Salary: $70,000.00 plus generous benefits package
Directly Supervised by the Deputy Director.
Campaign Manager
The Audre Lorde Project is a local organizing center and nationally recognized organization in the struggle for racial, social, and economic justice; As a membership based organization, it is our priority to increase safety, wellness, accessibility, leadership development among ALP stakeholders. The goals of the Campaign Manager position are to build and amplify community-based practices of care, leadership, and community member investment in transforming the sociopolitical conditions that undermine our quality of life. The role consolidates the work of community members, staff, and board to build collective strategic campaigns in alignment with our values and strategic plan.
What does the Campaign Manager do?

Develop and manage grassroots issue based campaigns with the input of the staff, membership and Organizing Coordinating Committee (OCC)

Enhance the capacity of the program team and membership to provide the long-term vision for our campaign work by developing strategies to increase, politicize and mobilize our base

Manage the four person Program Coordinator Team , who build the political and practical strategies for community care within a grassroots community-based praxis.

Strengthen the engagement and collaboration between ALP staff and our membership.

Convenes all ALP stakeholders as it regards programming, movement building, and organizational development.
