SOS Collective Volunteer Meeting CANCELLED on Sept. 13th
Volunteer night is a great chance for new folks to come out and learn about the various ways you can get involved as well as for current members to plug in.
Help plan events, learn more about anti-violence work, contribute your passion and time to building a campaign for community safety, and participate in mini-trainings.

Healers from 3 Cities Talk about the Role of Healing and Wellness for Social Justice Movements

What does healing have to do with social justice? If we all are healing internalized oppression and colonialism and seeking care and support to do that, what are we asking our healers to carry? When does social justice and healing work hand in hand, and when do they butt heads?

ALP will be closed from Thursday, August 26th through Sunday, September 3rd as we will be packing and moving to our new Manhattan office!

In direct response to our community the Audre Lorde Project (ALP) has created a membership structure that holds the needs of our organizing areas and commitment to community building, political education, skills building, holistic health and wellness.
SALGA Presents Color Me Queer
In addition to our usual June activities, ALP has a lot of exciting and new
work happening including the launch of our New Membership Structure,
preparing for the move to our new space, and participating in the Allied
Media Conference and US Social Forum.
As a result, we do not have the capacity to co-sponsor Color Me Queer this
year. We hope our communities will continue to support SALGA's fundraiser -
Color Me Queer.
