New and experienced folks who have signed up for or are interested in participating on the Audre Lorde Project's Community Safety Team for Trans Day of Remembrance (TDOR) on Tuesday, November 15th, are invited to attend our security training.

This training is also a great fit for folks who are interested in learning ALP's community security strategies to use in your own communities and events, and at future ALP events!

We will review the TDOR security protocol, grounding values for self determined community safety, and learn and practice anti-oppressive de-escalation strategies.

This security training is open to lesbian, gay, bisexual, two spirit, trans, and gender non-conforming people of color (LGBTSTGNC POC) and our non-LGBTSTGNC and white allies!

Contact SOS@alp.org with any questions, to sign up for the TDOR Community Security team, and to RSVP for the security training.

Snacks and metrocards will be available.
