With over 50 years since the Stonewall riots of 1969 and the current state of our community during the pandemic- the liberation struggle within the LGBTSTGNC community has only intensified. While mainstream media aims to dilute the radical black, brown queer and TGNC history of the riots, of our liberation- WE WILL NOT! We will discuss the legacies of Kiyoshi Kuromiya, Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, Vernita Gray and Bayard Rustin to name a few. We will take back our history from pinkwashing and uplift our queer and TGNC liberation struggle. Stonewall means we got to fight back!
