Arrests at the Future of New York Conference - They are Free!

On Tuesday FIERCE participated in a non-violent action at the Future of New York conference organized by the city's business sector. They were meeting today to create policy recommendations geared towards "strengthening the city's economy." We came, along with other grassroots organizations across the city, to say that the people of New York (queer and trans youth, homeless, workers, immigrants...) were being left out of this very important conversation.

2007 Year in Review

The past year was action-packed for ALP! The year featured deeper integration of ALP’s organizing, education/training, and health and wellness programs; a celebration of our history of organizing; direct actions, political education events, and community building. We send a big thank you to the entire ALP community for our collective victories!
