All too often in society, stories are told from the WASP perspective. Freedom Train's response to this paradigm is: The Open Workshop. Lead by our resident playwrights, The Open Workshop is a writers salon open to any play that features a protagonist character whom the playwright considers underrepresented on stage. And by any we certainly do mean any. Doesn't quite fit inside any box? Perfect.

This workshop is free. There is limited space. Beginning, emerging, and
established playwrights welcome. Please email a short blurb of the play
that you would like to workshop to openworkshop@freedomtrainproductions.org.
