This is an online workshop offered through Zoom and by phone.

Fundraising isn’t just for wealthy (often white) folks. Time and time again, we’ve seen our communities show up and pool resources to care for one another. That is fundraising.

Join us for a workshop on grassroots fundraising to learn about the basics of fundraising, the most effective fundraising strategies, and how grassroots fundraising can challenge racism and classism.

We’ll discuss ALP’s fundraising strategy and draw from traditions of giving, resistance, and mutual support in people of color communities to imagine new (and old ways) of gathering resources for our movements.

The Audre Lorde Project is a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two Spirit, Trans and Gender Non Conforming (LGBTSTGNC) People of Color center for community organizing, focusing on the New York City area. This training is primarily aimed at LGBTSTGNC People of Color, but people of color who are not LGBTSTGNC are also invited to join.

This is a free, online workshop offered through Zoom and by phone. Automatic live-captioning will be provided by Rev.

Space is limited — RSVP now to reserve your spot!
