TransJustice is excited and proud to announce our 15th annual Trans Day of Action! The march and rally will be held on Friday, June 28th from 4:00-6:00pm at Washington Square Park.
Join TransJustice in uplifting our New York City Communities of Color as we champion policy goals for advancing housing equity for Trans and Gender Non-Conforming in New York City.
If you or your organization support trans and gender-non-conforming people of color movements, leadership, and organizing work, say it loud and proud by signing on as an endorser of Trans Day of Action. Join us as we reclaim the streets and lift up the legacy of Stonewall as a TGNC POC-led rebellion.
We are asking endorsing organizations to do 2 of the below 4 things (or all of them!):
- Mobilize to Trans Day of Action and bring your banner and your members
- Post at least twice weekly about the event on your website and/or social media
- Donate $150 of water and snacks for our amazing volunteers (We are looking for at least 10 endorsers to do this).
- Donate $250+ to help us cover TDoA expenses. You can donate here or contact endorseTDoA@alp.org with questions.
For individual endorsers, we ask that folks do 3 of the below 4 things (or all of them!):
- Come on out to Trans Day of Action with your crew!
- Spread the word by making calls or sending text messages and emails to your NYC-based list
- Post at least twice weekly about the event on your website and/or social media
- Donate $25+ to help us cover TDOA expenses.
