Amidst the challenges of this political moment, we invite all queer & trans people of color in NYC to join us for a healing space where we will process, grieve, and build collective strength. This will be a space for reflection and support as we navigate the weight of:
- The acquittal of Jordan Neely’s killer, a painful reminder of the systemic injustices we continue to fight.
- A bill that threatens nonprofit organizations by granting the Treasury the power to strip them of their nonprofit status, endangering critical work done for and by our communities.
- The reality of facing another Trump presidency in less than a month, with its implications for our communities and movements for justice.
Healers will be available to provide 1:1 healing services for attendees, offering personalized support and care. Additionally, we will distribute gift cards for food to all attendees as a small gesture of care and solidarity.
This healing space is for sharing, grounding, and finding solidarity in each other as we recommit to our collective freedom and resilience. We know these are heavy times, but we don’t have to carry them alone.
Let’s come together in love, strength, and hope.
