Living Room Cypher: Police Violence
cy·pher[noun] [verb] the process of tapping into your subconscious and entering a state of mind where thoughts and actions flow from your mind rather than being instrumented; creative space
In correlation with The Audre Lorde Project’s Political Education series, the living room cypher is a chance to learn concrete skills for using community-based strategies to challenge hate violence and police violence in your hood. Living room cypher night is an opportunity to learn more about our anti-violence work while also putting our plans into action.
This month we’ll be focusing on police violence. We’ll be watching a film and having a brief discussion.
Open to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two Spirit, Trans, and Gender Non Conforming people of color and Allies!
