3X the Experience
1. A night of queer performers, poets and storytellers.
2. A fundraiser for the Audre Lorde Project.
3. A celebration of Amanda Morgan’s grand entrance into her dirty thirties. (If you haven’t met me yet, you should. – AM)

Ignacio Rivera (http://ignaciorivera.com/) aka Papí Coxxx is a Queer, gender fluid, Trans-Entity, Black Boricua performance artist, currently performing skits, spoken word, one-person shows and story-telling internationally. Ignacio is a lecturer, activist, new filmmaker, self-proclaimed sex educator and sex worker. 

Azha Irving is a poet and visual artist born and raised in Harlem. She first began to write at the age of 6, and committed to art as a way of life as a result of the onset of blindness at the age of 24. Taught by her eldest brother who was himself an artist and writer. She has written and published under a multitude of guises. Azha is also an alumnus of Cave Canem’s NY regionals and Bronx Writers Corp.

Devonne Anais Heyward is a two-spirit creative writer from Brooklyn. Most recently, he has grown his writing in Cave Canem and Tongues Afire workshops in NYC. He is honored to take part in Thirrrty.

Anna and Rob (from the band The Kitchen Cabinet http://thekitchencabinet.net/) play Appalachian folk music as The Franklins, this project is a realization of both their childhoods growing up in bluegrass saturated households. They’d like to be ramblers someday.

Melissa Gore is a spoken word artist who uses poetry as a weapon. She breaks down homophobia, racism, and sexism, frequently employing satire and offering a message of hope and transformation. She is also an educator working with underprivileged youth populations focusing on critical literacy and practical life skills. Her ultimate goal is to set up programs using art-based approaches to discuss critical issues and possible solutions with youth. 

Amanda Morgan (http://amandamorgan.com/) is a writer/photographer, farmer’s daughter who moved to the city, girl with a tomato tattoo on her ankle. Amanda is also an activist, recent addition to the board of BiNet USA, and a Cave Canem alumnus. She loves to tell stories, especially ones that are sad or raunchy, preferably both.

Baked goods will be served. 5¢ PBR’s are available from the soda machine. Guests are welcome to BYOB as well. 

Entrance is free but we will be collecting voluntary donations to the Audre Lorde Project. (http://alp.org/) Take this opportunity to support other LGBTSTGNC people of color if you are able.
