Bed Stuy Pride has always been a space that centered and most importantly celebrated the lives, talents and vitality of lesbian, gay, bisexual, two spirit, transgender and gender-non-conforming people of color living in NYC by providing space, wellness, art and community support!
With the current pandemic and the urgent needs of our LGBTSTGNC POC community members- we are doing Bed Stuy Pride a little differently this year- Bed Stuy Pride will be a community give out!
As Audre Lorde said "Without community, there is no liberation!" Join us on Saturday, August 28th from 2PM-5PM at the Brooklyn Movement Center, as we give our POC LGBTSTGNC community- at no cost- cloth masks, surgical masks, latex gloves, hand sanitizer, socks, groceries, contraception, libation, snacks and vibrations!
Who We Are: The Safe OUTside the System (SOS) Collective is an anti-violence program led by and for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two Spirit, Trans, and Gender Non Conforming people of color. We are devoted to challenging hate and police violence by using community based strategies rather than relying on the police.
