Join the Safe OUTside the System Collective Tuesday, February 24th @ 6:30pm, as we build strategies for safety, support, and resilience that don't rely on state interventions when experiencing or witnessing street-based violence.

Have you ever experienced street-based violence or harrassment? What do you do when you can't trust the cops, but you need safety and support?

Have you ever witnessed violence or harrassment in the street and wanted to do something about it, but didn't know what or how?

The Safe OUTside the System Collective invites you to join us for an open meeting, a cypher on alternatives to policing for street based violence! At this cypher, we'll develop strategies on resilience, support, and safety that work for us, and that don't rely on the cops to keep us safe!

This Tuesday, February 24th, we'll gather at 6:30pm at the Brooklyn ALP office, located at 85 South Oxford St., Brooklyn, NY 11217.

This is an open meeting, and all are invited, so please bring your folks, friends, and family!

Cyphers are spaces for LGBTSTGNC People of Color in Central Brooklyn to freestyle on their experiences of safety and resistance. Guided, but not limited, Cyphers will focus on different community themes, while prioritizing the experiences and strategies of working class, born and raised, trans/gnc, and families (chosen and blood) of LGBTSTGNC People of Color in Central Brooklyn.

Food and metrocards will be provided.
