This gathering is to celebrate and honor Lucia Leandro and show our support for the next stages of his life.

As many of you know, an important community person and staff member of The Audre Lorde Project (ALP) transitioned off of ALP staff this past Spring. Lucia Leandro Gimeno has served in many capacities at ALP and his passion and inspiration has led ALP to new arenas of cultural expression, political introspection and fundraising. He has also made huge contributions to other organizations and the overall LGBTSTGNC POC and local progressive community.

While Lucia Leandro remains an active ALP volunteer, this gathering is to celebrate and honor Lucia Leandro and show our support for the next stages of his life.

There will be light appetizers and a cash bar as well as a Scrapbooking project where folks can record their funniest, memories of Lucia Leandro.

For more information or to RSVP, contact Collette Carter at 718-596-0342 x 17. It is still possible to contribute to his gift fund – we will be collecting at the party.
