This Friday, December 10th, 2021, the People of TransJustice and the Audre Lorde Project presents Receipts for Trans* Legacies: a grassroots fishbowl that is one part storytelling, one part report-back, and all local transgender and gender nonconforming communities of color-led.
Join us as we educate our NYC Council representatives and neighbors on the impact of Transgender and Gender Nonconforming advocacy and activism in recent years’ fight for equitable access to safe housing, healthcare navigation and nutrition. Brick-by-brick, we demand full investment into our community’s wellness and safety across all five boroughs for a more just New York City in 2022 and beyond.
