The Safe OUTside the System (SOS) Collective is an anti-violence program led by and for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two Spirit, Trans, and Gender Non Conforming people of color. We are devoted to challenging hate and police violence by using community based strategies rather than relying on the police or state systems.

Our community led safety strategies always center the survivor(s) in our response and seek to build accountability processes and models that will not further criminalize those doing harm but instead transform the root causes of violence.

The Safe OUTside the System Collective is committed to creating an accessible space so that all our comrades can participate in the 10 Year Turn Up celebration. We are currently assessing access needs and accomodations and will update as soon as we are able. We are determined to create a scent free, wheelchair accessible, Spanish interpreted event, with seating at the front of the event reserved for folks with disabilities and their loved ones. If you have specific access or interpretation needs, desires, or feedback, please contact Tasha at tamezcua@alp.org.
